This guide walks you through creating your AlgoHive account and connecting your first exchange.

Creating Your Account

1. Visit app.algohive.com/signup
2. Sign up with email or continue with Google
3. Verify your email address
4. Complete your profile setup

Connecting an Exchange

AlgoHive connects to exchanges via API keys. Your funds stay on the exchange — we only place trades.

Supported Exchanges

Creating API Keys

Binance

1. Log in to Binance and go to API Management
2. Create a new API key with a memorable name
3. Enable Spot Trading and/or Futures Trading
4. Important: Do NOT enable withdrawal permissions
5. Copy your API Key and Secret Key

Bybit

1. Log in to Bybit and go to API Management
2. Click Create New Key
3. Select API Transaction type
4. Enable trade permissions for the products you need
5. Copy your API Key and Secret

Hyperliquid

1. Connect your wallet to Hyperliquid
2. Go to API section in settings
3. Generate a new API wallet
4. Save your API wallet private key securely

Adding to AlgoHive

1. Go to Settings → Connectors in AlgoHive
2. Click Add Connector
3. Select your exchange
4. Enter your API credentials
5. Click Test Connection to verify
6. Save the connector

Security Best Practices

• Never enable withdrawal permissions on your API keys
• Use IP whitelisting if your exchange supports it
• Create separate API keys for AlgoHive (don't reuse)
• Regularly rotate your API keys
• Store your API secrets securely
